We don't want to make a difference in our community to "feel good"; we want to make a difference in our community to point people to Jesus. Throughout the year, New Hope does this in several ways.
"Ready for School" Drive
New Hopers collect school supplies and new or gently used jeans to help our neighbors get ready for school! At our "Ready for School" event, volunteers are ready to pray with families to have a successful school year.
For more information on how to serve, contact Johnny Sorrell at email@example.com.
Community Partner in Food Pantry Ministry
New Hope partners with two community Food Pantries by collecting and donating food throughout the year. New Hope partners with Rockpointe church and Nazarene Church in Cedar Park.
If you have food to donate, you can drop it off in the Family Life Center or the church office (please check expiration date on food items).
Hope Group Mission Projects
Aside from church-wide missions, Hope Groups sometimes choose to participate in specific mission projects as a class. We've had Hope Groups engage in missions from the Texas Baptist Children's Home to Church Under the Bridge in Austin. Check with your Hope Group teacher about any planned mission projects or to suggest one!
Student Mission Projects
Our Student Ministry is very active in serving in local mission projects! Sometimes they serve as an entire Student Ministry or sometimes just individual student Hope Groups.
For more information about local mission opportunities for students, contact Jason Collins at firstname.lastname@example.org.
