At New Hope, we seek to build a caring community of adults who share a common desire to grow in their faith in Christ, and to follow His will for them and their families. As adults develop in Christ, they will begin to see opportunities to deploy for Christ and share His message of acceptance and forgiveness to others.

Hope Groups (Bible Study)

We often find that the best place to connect with other adults, to grow in God’s Word, and to receive support and encouragement from others is in small groups. At New Hope, we have Sunday morning small groups Bible study, called Hope Groups, that meet at 8:15, 9:30 & 10:50 a.m. Each group aims to reach, teach, and care for those in the group. Hope Groups not only provide quality Bible study, but develop community among group members.

No matter what culture, religion, or family background, just about everyone wants a healthy marriage. Soulmates is a 10-week, small group experience for seriously dating, engaged couples, and even newly married couples to study and learn how to build a healthy marriage. As a bonus, a marriage inventory and a mentoring relationship will be offered!

• In-Laws
• Finances
• and More

Soul Mates is a free class offered by New Hope FBC, and is registered with the State of Texas’ pre-marital counseling program. Couples completing the class qualify for a $60 discount on their marriage license fee, and can waive the 72 hour waiting period.

Discipleship Institute

Discipleship is the Christian’s life-long commitment to the person, teaching and spirit of Jesus Christ. The Discipleship Institute at New Hope is an opportunity to intentionally grow as a disciple of Jesus. Through relevant study and discussion, individuals can learn and work on specific areas of their life that they desire to look more like Jesus’. There are a variety of class topics that change each sememster (Fall & Spring). Classes meet each semester on Sunday nights, 5:00-6:15 p.m.

Women’s Ministry

Ladies, grow closer to the heart of Christ and other women through:

• Retreats & Conferences
• Monday Night Bible Study (7-9 p.m.)
• Thursday Morning Bible Study (9:30-11:30 a.m.)
• Special Fellowship Events
