The Senior Adults of New Hope are an active group of adults who not only continue to grow in Christ’s image, but lead and reach out to others through the sharing of their life experiences and how Christ has sustained and fulfilled them. Through special fellowship events, day trips, annual events, and retreats, this group continues to grow closer to Jesus and to each other.

Hope Group (Small Group Bible Study)

We encourage you to try a Hope Group that fits your schedule and personality!

FAITH Class (60-75 yrs) – meets at 10:50 a.m. in Portable A
JOY Class (60+ yrs) – meets at 8:15 a.m. in the Family Life Center (FLC)
JOY II Class (60+ yrs) – meets at 9:30 a.m. in FLC 127

Men & Women Groups

We offer Bible study groups that are gender-specific, which allows for more specialized discussion and interaction among peers. We encourage you to visit several groups to find a class that best fits you. Our current groups include:

MEN: Baeza Hope Group (60-80 yrs) – meets at 8:15 a.m. in Doefield #2B
WOMEN: Serenity Hope Group (60-80 yrs) – meets at 8:15 a.m. in FLC 127
WOMEN: Ruth Hope Group (60+ yrs) – meets at 9:30 a.m. in FLC 125

Homebound

Our Homebound Bible Study group enables individuals who are bound to their homes due to mobility issues to still have Bible study experience! A teacher will arrange a time to come to their home and do a lesson with them. If you are interested in participating in the Homebound Hope Group, contact Bonnie Papick at pnbpapick@gmail.com.

Special Events

Senior Adults Fellowship & Game Night

Each Monday night at 6:30 p.m. our Senior Adults get together for an amazing potluck dinner and a night of games and conversation. This is a great way to meet new people and even ask questions about the Senior Adult ministry or our church. Guests are always welcome to participate! Movie Days

On select Thursdays throughout the year, the Senior Adult Council organizes a movie day for all senior adults. Special-themed movies are selected and shown here at New Hope in Children’s Room 203/205. You are welcome to join us for popcorn, drinks, and a movie! Day trips
