Looking for some safe, family fun during the Christmas season? Join us for Christmas Nights on New Hope!

With 3 festive, outdoor experiences in December, including live music, inspiring lights, food trucks, great giveaways, outdoor movie screening, and nightly charity drives, this will be a Christmas experience you’ll never forget! Christmas Nights will be on the first 3 Fridays in December.

In order to maintain CDC safety guidelines, reservations are required; spaces are limited.

THREE NIGHTS

At Christmas Nights on New Hope, experience your very own family movie picnic on a day that fits your schedule best! Christmas Nights will be the first 3 Fridays in December, and each night will feature a unique movie, as well as food trucks, music artists and charity benefit.

Movie: The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (live action version)

Each movie will be socially distanced lawn seating (6 feet apart). Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs to help create a social distance boundary for your family. Designated areas will be marked for blanket seating and chair seating to ensure all will have the best view of the movie.

Each evening, one hour prior to the movie screening, there will be lots of Christmas fun activities!

All safety precautions will be taken, including sanitizing shared surfaces, social distancing in lines and during activities.

FOOD TRUCKS

The best food trucks from all over Austin will be on location to serve tasty food favorites! Each evening there will be 3 meal trucks and 1 sweet and savory truck.

Guests can pre-order their meals online the day of the event or order onsite that evening through their mobile device. Upon ordering, you will receve an email receipt and a text notification when your food is ready for pick-up.

CHARITY DRIVE

This event is free, excluding food trucks, but please consider donating to the featured charity drive the night of your attendance.

  • Items to Bring: diapers (size 4, 5 and 6)

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Safety is our top priority for all our gatherings! Here are a few safety precautions we will be taking to ensure safety for everyone in attendance:

  • Social distancing will be practiced at all times (seating areas, activities, etc.)
  • Pre-movie activities: Sanitizing shared items/surfaces in between guests
  • Numerous hand sanitizer stations will be available on the property

WHAT WE ASK OF OUR GUESTS

  1. Prescreen your family before coming to campus; if anyone is feeling ill or has fever over 99.9, please plan a Christmas night at home.
  2. In the last 12-14 days, if anyone in your household had a fever over 99.9, had resiratory or flu symptoms, or has tested positive for or are awaiting results on a COVID-19 test, please plan a Christmas night at home.
  3. We ask that everyone wear masks upon entering the property and in transition between stations; however, masks may be removed upon being seated for the movie, while eating, or at the selfie-station.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes. To secure your spot and to reinforce social distancing and safety practices, we require a reservation. Walk-ups will be permitted ONLY if space is available.

FREE! There is no charge for this event. All activities (excluding food trucks) are included in your reservation. Families are encouraged to bring a donation specific to the featured charity drive of the evening. Please see the charity drive list above for what items to bring.

When you make a reservation, the system will send you a confirmation email and automatically add you to our list of attendees. No paper ticket is required at entry. Check-in will be digital based on our registered attendees list.

If you have reserved a place, you can enter the church parking lot off of New Hope Dr. or 183 & Deerfield Park Dr. As you enter, you will check-in digitally with our volunteers at the Welcome Station.

Pre-movie activities will begin at 5:30 pm, and we encouarge you to arrive by 6:15 pm for the movie. After this time, your spot will be released for walk-ups.

Guests will have the opportunity to pre-order their meals online the day of or order onsite the evening  of through their mobile device. Feel free to browse our food truck options and menus in the days prior to your selected evening. Upon ordering, you will recieve an email receipt and the night of the event, you will receive a text notification when your food is ready.

Yes! We recognize that each person is at a different level of comfort when it comes to gatherings. We want to provide a safe and fun experience for all! All activities are optional, but safety practices and social distancing will be in place at all times. Hand sanitizer stations will also be available. We ask that everyone wear masks upon entering the property and in transition between stations; however, masks may be removed upon being seated for the movie, while eating, or at the selfie-station.

Pre-movie activities will start at 5:30 pm, with a majority continuing to be available throughout the movie, including all food trucks, hot cocoa bar and the Christmas seflie-station

No. Attendees who reserve a spot are welcome to participate in all the pre-movie activities and leave as early as they choose. The food trucks will be available for the entire evening, along with the hot cocoa bar, and the Christmas selfie-station.

  • Dress warm (this event is outdoors)
