MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Our high school students will be returning to Camp Bahama on Eleuthera Island this summer to continue to share the light and love of Jesus! In addition to community outreach projects, our team will be assisting local missionaries and staff in relationship-building activities such as work projects in the community, serving at a special-needs school, after school tutoring, VBS, sports ministries and more.
WORK PROJECTS
Do you have any yard work or cleaning you need done? How about babysitting? Our students are looking for ways to earn money to go towards the cost of their mission trip. Contact Jason at jasonc@discovernewhope.com with any work opportunities you have!
UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY
Mission Eleuthera is a great “level one” mission trip for students because:
- Proximity: The Bahamas are relatively close to the U.S. (only 200 miles from Miami).
- Language: English is the official language in the Bahamas.
- Cross Cultural: This cultural ministry experience will challenge your students comfort and grow their faith.
- Safety: Compared to other countries, Eleuthera is relatively safe; crime is almost non-existent.
- Established Ministry: EBTC is an established ministry committed to partnering with the local church, and has served in Eleuthera for over 10 years.
- Affordable: The price per person is less than most international mission opportunities.
